How Can We Take Care Of Our Health?
Part one:
Heart diseases are one of the most current sicknesses in the modern societies. The main reason of most of hears diseases and problems such as angina and heart attack is the narrowing of heart arteries or atheroma by the fats. These sediments which are created by the high content of fat in blood limit the blood passage inside the arteries. This process is called arteriosclerosis which can result in heart attack. There are two types of fat in our body and a blood test while being empty-stomached will specify the content of the above-mentioned fats. TG high content results in a problem whose solution is specified and evident because the main reason of high content of TG is high weight, in other words, receiving calories more tan the requirement of the body, especially sugar and other carbohydrates and high-energy drinks. For solving this problem your body should reach the ideal weight and you should do some physical exercises every day
Cholesterol:
High cholesterol content is a more serious problem and if your blood cholesterol content is high it is very necessary to lower its content.
Cholesterol is a white fat material and is made in liver. Cholesterol exists in body in two forms: high density cholesterol which is called as HDL and low density cholesterol or LDL which is called bad cholesterol and is also called as good cholesterol. Cholesterol should be below 130 milligrams in deciliter. High cholesterol content is caused by the diet containing animal-origin foods. As a result for those who have a diet of LDL or plant cholesterol this difficulty is rare. We can often decrease the cholesterol level through changing the diet. The cholesterol level is very high in some people and as a result besides the diet and sports the special treatment is necessary for decrease of cholesterol level up to desirable rate.
Note 1:
The high content of cholesterol can result in the following problems:
Arteriosclerosis (narrowing or obstruction of arteries)
Heart attack
Cerebral apoplexy
Note 2:
Although cholesterol exists only in animal origin foods; the researches show that the decrease of the total amount of saturated fats plant and animal fats is very necessary for lowering the cholesterol content. The foods full of starch such as bread rice macaroni and vegetables also follow the same pattern.
Key recommendations:
Keep your weight at satisfactory level.
Follow a diet full of plant foods.
Eat fish at least twice a week.
Avoid fried foods.
Do physical exercises regularly.
Always separate the meat fat.
Drink a lot of water.
Dont smoke
High blood pressure:
High blood pressure is usually measured in proportion to millimeter or centimeter mercury and is reported with two numbers such as 120/8 or 12/8 and the upper number shows blood pressure systole or the pressure of heart pump. The lower number or diastole blood pressure shows the pressure in blood vessels. If the blood pressure is the systole blood pressure of 14 cm mercury and diastole pressure is above 9 the person is suffering high blood pressure.
High blood pressure can be a threatening factor for cardiovascular diseases because under these conditions the performance of heart becomes difficult and more pressure is exerted on it. On the other hand the increased of blood pressure in vessels harms the internal walls of the vessels and provides a suitable environment for concentration of fats in damaged points. The regular measurement of blood pressure is necessary for the people who are over 40 years old.
Smoking:
Smoking increases the risk of encountering cardiovascular diseases. The smoke of cigarettes contains 4000 chemicals most of which are toxic. Among the above mentioned materials nicotine and carbon dioxide plays a role in occurrence of cardiovascular diseases. Nicotine existing in blood can cause the decrease of oxygen supply to heart, increase of blood pressure, increase of heartbeat and blood clot. Smoking also hardens.
